Choosing the right size online is never easy. Without being able to try on the garment, we often hesitate between two sizes, especially when standards vary from one brand to another.
Why the size chart is your best ally
Every product page at belledecora offers a size chart with precise measurements in centimeters: bust circumference, length, sometimes waist or hip circumference depending on the garment. Before adding an item to your cart, take two minutes to compare these figures to your own measurements rather than your usual size.
The trap of Asian sizes
Most of our pieces are manufactured according to Asian standards, generally one to two sizes smaller than European or American standards. An Asian L often corresponds to a French M. If you hesitate between two sizes on a chart, always choose the larger size.
Measure rather than guess
For reliable results, measure a similar garment you already own and compare it to the chart. Also allow for a margin of 2 to 3 cm, as measurements are taken by hand and may vary slightly from one piece to another.
